In HO gauge, the Fleischmann range has come to represent the
glory days of
the steam age. However, one of the Swiss electrics from the glory days has been
added to the range this year!
Model no: 434501
This classic Swiss electric first saw the light of day back in 1925! Now in her original brown livery, as opposed to the earlier model some years ago in green, she could easily be rolled out on special occasions for museum excursions!
Of course, the magic of the steam engine cannot be forgotten, and so there are a couple of new variants of classic classes for you to enjoy:
Model no: 410372Released last month in standard dc format, there is now a digital Sound on Board version to add that extra dimension to your layout! The class 03 of the DR with the larger "elephant ears" Wagner style smoke deflectors!

"Wannseebahn Set"
For old-timer Prussian fans, here's a complete train made up of a T9.3 tank engine, with 3
coaches and a baggage van of the period. The Wannseebahn ran on the outskirts of Berlin from
Potsdamer Platz via Ringbahnstation Schöneberg to the Wannsee lake station.
Built in 1874, the 19km line continued with steam working right up to 1933 when it was electrified.
Modelling the European scene in miniature, bringing train
travel across modern Europe to life.
HO gauge modellers can now enjoy the recently released Bavarian Special!
Model no: 62689
The flag of Free State Bavaria is white diamonds
on a blue background – not blue on white!
On the 22nd November 2010, in Munich, the Bavarian Minister for Transport unveiled a special advertising loco which will run throughout 2011 to attract visitors to this area of Germany, with the strapline - "time for yourself"
Roco has modelled this class 111 electric loco, with all its incredible, colourful detail – model number 62689.
It's nicknamed "Maxl" [little Max] after a public competition to name the loco.
ALSO SOON TO APPEAR IN N GAUGE FROM FLEISCHMANN –
Model no: 781105 / Digital Version no: 781185
coach set no: 6405
Fans of the DB in the 1980's will easily recognise these "silver fish" coaches – staple diet of
commuter and local traffic.

control cab coach, bearing the orange warning stripe,
a second class coach, plus the 1st/2nd composite coach.
Highlight Loco of the Year!
Dynamic Smoke – Digital Operation!
Model No: 62191 – with sound & chuffing smoke!
The Roco model number 62191 is a technological leap forwards with actual "chuffing" smoke from the funnel, steam exhaust beats from the cylinders,
lights, sound – all the characteristics of the prototype in miniature!
Model No: 62191 – with sound & chuffing smoke!
(model no: 62190 is the same loco but not fitted with sound or smoke unit). Just the "chuffing" sound, digitally synchronised with the loco speed, has been around for around ten years now, so the Roco innovation team have come up with the next development on the digital theme. WATCH THE VIDEO – CLICK ON www.roco.cc
The "chuffs" of exhaust from the funnel and steam exhausts from the cylinders are synchronised with the speed! The smoke fuel is the standard "Seuthe" smoke fluid obtainable from dealers, and the large tank hidden inside the boiler allows about ten minutes running before refill. Refilling is via the valve in the steam dome atop the boiler.
Not only that, but the loco lights (cab, front & rear) can be digitally turned on or off, as well as the inspection lighting under the skirting of the chassis!
